OSI Group
 The North American OSI Group has almost 100 years of experience in processing foods. Its history started in 1909, when Otto Kolschowsky, a small entrepreneur, humbly started the group: opening a small meat products store, in Chicago. With time, investments in technology changed the establishment into a multinational, which counts today with more than 12,000 employees and 75 factories throughout the world, always with only one objective: supply products with the best quality at fair prices.
In Brazil, history begins in 1982, when OSI created Braslo to serve the McDonald’s fast food chain. Twenty years later, OSI do Brasil Participações Ltda. was created, with the purpose of administrating companies Braslo and Penasul, a poultry company situated in Rio Grande do Sul. In the next two years, Braslo began to also administrate the Glenmark brand.
