In 1999, an actual “Foodtown” was built at Anhangüera Highway, near São Paulo.
Braslo, together with 2 suppliers of McDonald’s – Interbakers, bread distributor, and Martin-Brower, a logistics and distribution company, was stimulated to raise this center of excellence and quality to optimize the production and distribution of foods to the fast food chains.
The condominium has a single utilities, telephony, cleaning services, security and medical infirmary center, but the main advantage is the optimization of the processes, evident in the reduction of time and transport cost between the supplier and the distributor, since they are located side by side.
The goods of Braslo and Interbakers are transferred to Martin-Brower in a simple and fast mode: crossing doors that interconnect the companies, which saves time and freight.
This town (Foodtown) allows the production of 3.5 thousand dozens of bread per hour by Interbakers and 100 tons of meat (beef and chicken), per day, by Braslo.
